An Eksa Award Ceremony, Legal Aid Department

AN EKSA AWARD CEREMONY, LEGAL AID DEPARTMENT

On June 24th 2016 (Friday), an EKSA award ceremony was held during the LAD Majlis Khatam Al-Quran in the Main Meeting Room. The ceremony was attended by the whole of LAD. The winners were selected based on the scoring scheme of the EKSA Internal Audit Bil. 1/2016, which was hosted by the EKSA Audit Committee on 19 & 20 April 2016. The list of winners is as follows;

THE PUBLIC SECTOR CONDUCIVE ECOSYSTEM INTERNAL AUDIT

LEGAL AID DEPARTMENT (LAD)

NO. 2/2016

The Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem Internal Audit (EKSA)  will be conducted  from 3rd to 4th August 2016 at   LAD, Putrajaya. This is its EKSA’s second internal audit for 2016. Internal Audit is a part of EKSA’s activity to ensure EKSA is being  implemented successfully in LAD.

     

      

 

About Panel of Solicitors

Panel of Solicitors of Legal Aid Department consists of private body of advocate & solicitors with certificate of Legal practice and appointed by LAD Director General to handle Civil and Syariah cases at a certain rate which will be paid by LAD.

Types of cases assign to panel of solicitors are :

1. Cases whereby both parties qualified for legal aid and LAD Director will not be able to represent either party or both parties in this case.

2. Cases which involve complicated legal issues.

3. Other cases which will raise conflict of Interest if represented by LAD.
