Discussion on the Collaboration Programme between the Legal Aid Department and the Legal Aid Clinic University of Malaya

On 6 December 2017, the Legal Aid Department, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur held a discussion with the Honourable Assoc. Prof. Datin Norbani binti Mohamed Nazeri and Puan Aisyah binti Mohamed Nazeri from the Faculty of Law, University of Malaya together with the students who are involved in the inaugural collaboration programme between the Legal Aid Department of Malaysia (LADM) and the Legal Aid Clinic University of Malaya (LACUM). The main purpose of the discussion is to obtain feedback as well as suggestions on the improvements that can be made to the collaboration programme between LADM and LACUM.

Visit by the Honourable Datuk Haini binti Hassan, Director General of Legal Aid to the Legal Aid Department, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur

On 29 November 2017, the Legal Aid Department, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur had the honour of hosting the visit by the Honourable Datuk Haini binti Hassan, Director General of Legal Aid. The purpose of the visit is to review the progress made by the University of Malaya students who are involved in the inaugural collaboration programme between the Legal Aid Department of Malaysia and the Legal Aid Clinic University of Malaya. The Honourable Director General also had a lengthy discussion with the Director of Legal Aid Department, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and the University of Malaya students to obtain feedbacks and inputs from all the parties involved.
