Community Awareness Program of LAD Penang

The Legal Aid Department (LAD) of Pulau Pinang had conducted Community Awareness Program as follows:

The objective of this program is to provide legal advice and legal aid for the public either in civil, criminal or syariah matters.

In this program, a total of 16 visitors have attended.

Community Awareness Program of LAD Johore

LAD Johor Branch had conducted community awareness program as follows:

The objective of this program is to promote JBG’s jurisdiction eiither in civil, criminal or syariah matters its new service which is Legal Companion to the public.

Legal Aid Mobile Clinic Pengerang P.157 Parliament

Legal Aid Department (LAD) Johor Bahru has joined the Mobile Legal Aid Clinic organised by Pengerang parliamentary during the programme “ Jelajah Pengerang 2018”. The Mobile Legal Aid Clinic was held as stated belows:

(a)  Date  : 24 February 2018 (Saturday)
(b) Time :  9.00 a.m - 4.30 p.m
(c) Venue  :  Community hall at Kg. Jawa, Dataran Sg. Rengit and D'Punggai Arcade, Pengerang
(d) Type of Program  :  Mobile Legal Aid Clinic
(e)  Organizer : Legal Aid Department, Johor Bahru

Advices are related to unlawful dismissal, transit settlement/house, land acquisition and regarding lawyer’s legal fees.

During the programme, a total of 10 visitors get the advice from both officers.
