Talks on Legal Aid Department’s Services and Legal Companion Service under Legal Aid Act (Amendment) 2017
LAD Sarawak had involved in giving talk to the participants involved about Legal Companion and LAD’s services as provided under the Legal Aid Act (Amendment) 2017.

The objective of this program are:
- To give explanation to the participants about LAD’s services as provided under the Legal Aid Act (Amendment) 2017 which came into effects on 1 December 2017;
- To promote legal companion service towards the participants and the institution;;
- To build up cooperation between Legal Aid Department (LAD) with Department of Social Welfare
A total of 47 participants involved in the talk. They are the senior officer, officer and assistant officer (from grade S29 to S48) of the Sarawak Welfare Department all over Sarawak. At the end of the programme, Legal Aid Department (LAD) Sarawak Branch successfully achieved the main objective of this programme which is to promote Legal Aid Act (Amendment) 2017 and legal companion service toward the institution
